About us

We hope that the Voices on this blog will both contrast with each other and be heard in unison. Its primary aim is as a social justice blog: to promote those voices that are otherwise unheard. Intersectionality is our guiding principle: we believe that the fight for equality is strongest when we celebrate diversity and recognise the struggles of all, across the globe, as equally important. We hope that the voices on this blog will be diverse, and perhaps even in disagreement, but united in their desire to promote peace, justice, and equality.

This blog is an opportunity for all. Both an outlet for people to write of their own experiences of living in a world built on class, gender, race, and a host of other divisions, and a chance for others to read and learn about these experiences. We welcome the writing of anyone: whether you have an opinion to share or some information to impart, your writing is valuable to us. If you are interested in contributing, or have any feedback, please email us at: yourvoicesblog@gmail.com

We would like to thank JP Morgan for their generous sponsorship.
